Introduction
Under this scheme orphan,
deserted, destitute and abandoned children are supported. Children without
parent or with the single parent are also covered. Children of ailing
parents and prisoners, parents are alive but father is severely differently
abled and the child is taken cared by mother are also covered under this
scheme.

What are the objectives of the scheme?
The objective of the scheme is
to provide education to orphan and destitute children by giving free food,
clothing, shelter and medical care.

What is the assistance provided under this scheme?
The assistance provided under
this scheme are accommodation, education, uniform, free text books and note
books, medical facilities, chappals and bedding.

What are the criteria for availing the benefit under this
scheme?
The criteria for availing the
benefits under this scheme are:

Under
this scheme the annual income of the parents should be below Rs.24,000/-
b.
Eligible
age for girls in between 5 years to 18 years, and in case of Boys up to 5th
standard.
